THE HUMAN GIRL HAS ONCE AGAIN BETRAYED US!!!!!!!!!!

A BLOODY BATH OUTDOORS?

Ah... but ohwell, we do feel better after this bath, now that we are all nice and dry. Ok, we'll let it slide this time.



So the other week the Human Girl went over to Hong Kong to see this Cesar Millan guy. Dunno who he is. Never seen him either. I think the Human Girl read a book or two by this guy. Something about he's on TV too. No interest. But she got me a present!! And it's a new leash! Lookie!



I did try to convince the Human Girl that I'm grown up enough to walk myself, but she seems to be determined. AND I've already chewed the handle part of the leash. Yummy!

Menina isn't too well though.



Mr. Vet has taken her off Tramadol and after a few days she's back to her unbalanced, can't walk, constant pain self. The Human Girl will have to find the time to take her to visit the vet before the two-weeks-later appointment. That is going to be a very difficult case to crack!

Exhibitionists

We are dogs. We don't really care if you get to see our wee-wees or whatever. We enjoy life, and we will just show it all, if it so fancies us.

Even the ladies can just be as free as the rest!

Why should we cover up? It's a free world and there is NO SHAME at all!



So why is the Human Girl suddenly putting stamps to cover up our weewees these days!?!?!?!?

Could it be the Human Girl is ashamed of seeing us exhibiting ourselves?

Nah, apparently it was just for fun.

Twelve Nights 十二夜

The Human Girl today recommends a Taiwan movie-documentary she watched.

Twelve Nights 十二夜. It tells of the 12 nights of some 450 dogs in a shelter. At the end of the period only some 50-something are adopted.

It is, of course, really sad, but the Himan Girl was impressed with the cinematography, lighting, angles, and all. It made a shabby old cheap shelter look like a sturdy, quaint rustic shelter.

We are on the iPhone right now so we are not sure how to post anything, but I'm sure if we click around, something will eventually work.

Puppies are unwell

The Human Girl went into shock and blacked out a few days ago! In retrospect, the entire incident was funny enough, but at that time, it was pretty devastating.

Our queen Menina had some complications where she was constantly crying. After several runs to the vet and a couple of false diagnosis, it was concluded Menina had some type of spinal and cranial hernia (whatever those terms are). In simple words, something was growing in between her spinal bones, or something.

This conclusion came to after a blood test, a few injections, and a change of vet, who conceded to give her an x-ray and identified the problem. So she now has her meds, has a collar thing that she has to put on at all times (though in reality she has it off for longer) and seems to be doing well.

Next is Woofy, our Pequenai. He somehow displaced his kneecap, which led to surgery to put it back in place and to deepen the ridge in his bone to keep the kneecap in place.

As the vet explained this, the Human Girl blacked out. Ha. The entire clinic staff stood around her and got her coke and water. It was just funny for us but embarrassing for her, which is fine, really.

Before surgery took place, a blood test tested Woofy to have canine pancreatitis and so, bad luck for him, he has to stay hospitalized for the next 3 days.

In both cases, the vets are pretty happy with the progress, so all is good. We will soon give you updates and of course, photos.

Menina

Allow the Human Girl to say something today.

After running around in some circles with a couple of vets, and a story that i don't particularly care to elaborate, she did a blood test and a set of 4 x-rays.

Our lovely Menina is pretty sick. She has some problems with her spine and is in constant pain. Something about bones growing between her spine bone blocks. Or something.

The X-ray we took also showed she has an enlarged heart, liver, and a mysterious organ(spleen?)/something that the vet is unsure what it is.

We are going to do an ultrasound next week to find out.

Luckily, she is still eating well and can still do her regular toilet business. We only have to avoid her climbing up/down the stairs and steps and jumping. Trying to carry her is a pain as well as if we move her wrong then she cries a lot as well.

Life goes on

Life at this household goes on rather well. You don't have to worry, we are being kept really well!



We are still going out twice every day. I even heard the humans talking about going out to the mountains tomorrow morning! That is going to be very exciting!



Those who like to sleep on the bed still get to do that. Here Menina sleeps in a very enticing pose. And the humans only laugh at it. Yes. Envy us, envy our lives.



Oh yeah. And I got to be called, or referred to, as a Husky again. This time, it's not just some somebody that don't know about dogs. It was a vet! My regular vet was saying my energetic stride comes from the Huskies and that I need a lot of exercise! While I agree I need a lot of exercise, I am sure I am in no way related to Huskies!
